Andrii Lukashenko began his professional career as an officer in the Ukrainian army, where he successfully graduated from the Military Academy of the Ground Forces in Odesa. Initially, he served in the Presidential Guard of Honor (Old Guard), and then became the commander of one of the companies.
After that, in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, he served for five years as a Senior Liaison Officer in the Bilateral Ukrainian-American Office (BAO), and then was responsible for the training programs of the US Embassy in Kyiv and support for VIP delegations, exchanging officers and establishing NSO schools.
After that, he worked for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) for more than eight years. As National Executive Officer and National Security Officer of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission for Ukraine, he was responsible for security and administration. In this capacity, he worked throughout the country, including in the area of conflict on both sides, and responded to several incidents.
Since November 2022, he has been a permanent employee of SmartRiskSolutions and is responsible for the operations of our Ukrainian subsidiary SRS UA LLC as Deputy Director.
His academic background includes a Bachelor of Laws degree. He is also a graduate of the US Military Institute for Security Studies and the University of Geneva with a degree in Management of International Organizations. He received a degree in international security management from the International Institute for Security Management (CSMP), Great Britain.
He is a native speaker of Ukrainian and Russian and is fluent in English.
